Parent U is an opportunity for parents and guardians in our district to learn about current and relevant educational topics and initiatives our district is focusing on around students’ academics, interests, and mindset. Parents/Guardians can access on-demand videos that provide content, resources, and support from experts on pertinent student and family issues. Our hope in the future is to be able to again offer Parent U in person. Until then, visit this page often for new video releases and opportunities to stay up to date on educational issues and opportunities that may impact your child and family.

Home Access Center
If you have moved, State law and District policy require that you provide a new proof of residency. If you are renting your home, please provide a copy of the lease, signed by the landlord/rental agent. If you have purchased a home, please provide a signed copy of the HUD-1 Settlement Statement that was part of your closing documents. If your family is sharing a home with another family, please contact the Records Compliance Officer at 614-921-7096. Proof of residency documentation should be delivered to the Welcome Center at 2140 Atlas Street, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
Parents can access their student’s Canvas courses through a web browser like Chrome, Safari, Firefox and/or Edge. If you would prefer to use the Canvas app, be sure you download and use the STUDENT Canvas app, not the Parent Canvas app. A browser allows for a much richer experience as a Parent Observer. In addition, we have already linked your Home Access user name and password to your student’s courses.
