Transportation Services’ primary office is located at 4970 Davidson Road. We also have a satellite office located at the district’s Central Office, 2140 Atlas Street. Transportation Services handles the transportation needs of students between home and school and on school-related trips. Our team consists of 127 drivers, 20 bus aides, 5 mechanics, 2 secretaries, 2 dispatchers, and 3 supervisors.
Transportation Services also relies on a number of substitute drivers and aides to fill vacancies much like a substitute teacher in the classroom. We currently operate 127 routes, maintain 157 buses and transport more than 8,000 students on average each day. Most of the routes involve a run to a secondary school and then to an elementary school. The entire Transportation Services team is committed to creating, fostering and maintaining safe, efficient and proper school bus environments for all students and staff.
