August 2025 Progress Update

August 2025 Progress Update

As summer comes to a close and our students return to school, we’re excited to share updates on the important facility projects taking place across the district.

Playground improvements have been completed at Avery, Britton, Crossing, Horizon, J.W. Reason, and Norwich Elementary Schools. These new inclusive play spaces are now open and ready for students and families to enjoy.

Construction of new secured entrances is currently underway at Bradley High School, Davidson High School, Darby High School, Heritage Middle School, Tharp Sixth Grade, and Weaver Middle School. These upgrades are designed to enhance safety for our students and staff.

Additionally, the Darby High School Weight Room has made tremendous progress and continues to move forward as construction is actively underway.

These projects are part of Phase 1 of the Master Facilities Plan (MFP) and represent our ongoing commitment to providing safe, secure, and modern learning environments.

We are grateful for the continued support of our community in making these improvements possible.
