Inspired by their love of animals, two students from the Honors Core Infusion program at the Innovative Hub recently completed a passion project to improve the quality of life for dozens of animals awaiting adoption at the Columbus Humane Society. After reaching out to Sarah Tayse, Director of Operations at Columbus Humane, Lola and Lucy coordinated a donation drive that brought in over 200 new items, including much needed toys and food for dogs and cats. In addition, the Honors Core Infusion students engaged in a day of design by creating enrichment items to help reduce cat and dog anxiety, including lick plates and pup cups for the dogs and treats and toys for the cats and kittens. Congratulations to Lola and Lucy for following their hearts and making a difference!
