Courses

Students may take up to 1 academic course per session, with a total of 2 academic courses for the summer.

Registration for High School Summer School is now closed.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A check made payable to Hilliard City Schools must be presented with the registration.
Registrations will not be accepted at the schools.
NO CREDIT CARDS will be accepted for in-person payment.

High School Details

All high school courses are only offered online through Canvas. Outside of the virtual welcome meeting, there are no required meetings.

Teachers will hold daily office hours through Zoom and may be available to meet in person when scheduled ahead.

Students will be expected to engage with coursework daily and should plan for 4-5 hours per day. See suggested pacing guide for number of lessons to complete per week day.

Students will be expected to stay on pace.

Important Note: One2One devices (iPads) will not be available for students during summer school.  Students are required to have their own access to a computer, iPad or laptop as well as reliable internet service.

Required Meeting

ALL students will be required to attend a virtual welcome meeting on the first day of the session. Links for the Zoom meetings will be shared after registration is complete.

  • June 1 at 12:00 p.m. for Session 1 academic courses
  • June 1 at 1:00 p.m. for PE1 or PE2
  • June 14 at 12:00 p.m. for Session 2 academic courses

FEES:

Credit Recovery – $0
New Credit – $150 per course
Students on Free/Reduced Lunch – $0 (Apply For Free and Reduced, if needed.)
