During the first week of EL Summer School, 2nd and 3rd-grade students in Ms. Cararo’s classroom learned all about going camping. Throughout the week, the students explored what is needed for a camping trip by listening to stories, writing about items they would pack, and having hands-on experiences. Students also experienced what it is like to gather around a bonfire, tell stories, and roast marshmallows with their friends! These 2nd and 3rd graders had a spectacular time experiencing camping in the classroom.
