All Students Every Day
All students will attend Hilliard City Schools Monday through Friday on a normal school bell schedule with additional safety precautions in place.

Safety Precautions
- Health checks, including temperature, assessment at home by everyone before entering school or bus each morning
- Face masks required per district expectations
- Physical distancing guidelines followed with 6′ separation when possible and at ~3′ in classrooms
- Hand sanitizer available in every classroom
- Cleaning supplies to sanitize work areas will be available throughout the day
- Two students per seat on buses
- Lunchroom space expanded to other areas
- No visitors or volunteers
- No shared student supplies
- No lockers
- One-way hallways when possible
- Breakfast grab and go
- Innovation campus is operational
- No field trips
- No large group student events
- SACC operational based on state guidelines
Adjusted Procedures
Breakfast / Lunch
- ~3’ distance for lunch
- Masks are required when not eating
- Students stay with their class/cohort
- Students will eat in cafeteria, gyms and other designated areas
- Socially Distanced lunch lines
- Single serve hot lunch items
- Take-home meals will be available
Recess
- Equipment cleaned daily
- Mask can be removed when socially distant
- Students will wear masks while outside
- Mask break areas will be designated
- Students will sanitize hands before and after recess
Bathroom
Elementary Bathroom
- One student per classroom at a time
- Number of students in the restroom will be limited based on restroom capacity; students need to wait in the hallway if it is over capacity.
- Marked spots where students wait to enter the restroom
Secondary Bathrooms
- Number of students in the restroom will be limited based on restroom capacity – it will be an honor system with students

SACC
- Follow state ratio guidelines.
- Sanitizing utilized spaces before and after SACC
- Outside will be used as much as possible
- Student assigned to cohorts/classes
Clinics
- All students must wear a mask while in the clinic
- No more than three students in the clinic at a time
Elementary Clinic
- Potential mobile clinic for “daily injuries/illnesses” or diabetic checks.
- Clinic would be used for students who show COVID symptoms, who are very ill or who take medications.
Secondary Clinic
- One clinic for “daily injuries/illnesses” and medication
- One clinic for students who show COVID symptoms
Specials and Class Changes
Elementary Specials
- Hold related arts outside as much as possible
- Classroom doors stay open at all times
- Students wear masks while moving through hallways to related arts location
Secondary Specials/Class Change
- One-way hallways when possible, clearly marked with arrows
- ILC/HUB classes – students will sit near students from their own home school.
- Controlled locker room use
- Use outdoors as much as possible
- Classroom doors stay open at all times
- No locker visits
Cleaning
Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting will occur in the AM, at lunchtime, and PM daily.

- Desks/table spots will be assigned to students
- Students and teachers will follow a classroom sanitation routine before lunch and at the end of the day.
- Restrooms cleaned more frequently during the day
- Clean class doorknobs & lock bars at building entrances/exits during the day
Secondary Cleaning
- Desks will be assigned to students.
- Students and teachers will follow a classroom sanitation routine at the end of each class

Arrival and Dismissal
- Clearly marked entrances/exits
- Dismiss bus, car riders, and walkers at staggered times
- Doors propped open at the beginning and end of the day to limit touching surfaces

- Grab and go breakfast
Secondary School
- No lockers, students report directly to 1st period
- Grab and go breakfast
