Not just your average gaming device. The Warp Zone is an arcade that holds a showcase of student-made coding games and projects at Hilliard Davidson High School. Students have the opportunity to show off their work to the school when their project hits the Warp Zone in the commons that anyone can play. The students managing the project this year are Brady Whiteside and Mia Martinez. They will help guide students that want to manage the project next year.
Congratulations to Nicole Braet and Kelly Gorby, teachers at Scioto Darby Elementary School, who were selected to be Ohio Teacher Leader Liaisons! They will join the innovative and prestigious network of volunteer teachers from across the state to engage with the Department on topics related to current and future education initiatives that support each child, our future and Ohio’s Strategic Plan for Education.
Congratulations Shades of Blue A Cappella for being selected as one of 12 groups from around the country to perform in an a cappella festival showcase called SoJam. They are one of only 2 high school groups chosen, the rest being college and professional groups. They will perform November 7th at 6pm.
