Davidson Students Showcase Innovation at Annual EDD Poster Show

Students in Hilliard City Schools’ Engineering Design and Development (EDD) program recently shared their creativity, research, and problem-solving skills with the community during the program’s annual poster show.

The event, organized by the EDD Class of 2026, invited families, community members, and potential customers to explore the innovative projects students have been developing throughout the year. From new product ideas to solutions designed to solve real-world challenges, students presented their concepts through detailed posters and project displays.

The poster show provided an opportunity for students to share their passion, receive feedback, and connect with members of the community who may benefit from or support their ideas. Throughout the evening, student teams explained their design process, discussed the problems they set out to solve, and highlighted the research and testing that helped bring their projects to life.

Events like the EDD poster show give students valuable experience in communication, collaboration, and entrepreneurship, while allowing the community to see firsthand the innovation and creativity happening inside Hilliard classrooms.

The annual showcase continues to be an exciting opportunity for students to present their work and demonstrate how classroom learning can turn into meaningful ideas with real-world impact.
