Warp Zone

Not just your average gaming device. The Warp Zone is an arcade that holds a showcase of student-made coding games and projects at Hilliard Davidson High School. Students have the opportunity to show off their work to the school when their project hits the Warp Zone in the commons that anyone can play. Warp Zone was created and managed by students in the the Engineering and Computer Science programs. Students have worked collaboratively for the last couple of years to develop and continue to add to the gaming console. Hilliard Davidson 2021 graduate Mark DeLeo has played a large role in the development of Warp Zone with the support of Engineering teachers Chuck DeRee and Rusty Herring. The students managing the project this year are Brady Whiteside and Mia Martinez. They will help guide students that want to manage the project next year.
