Here are your announcements for today:
Art Club will be selling paper flowers at lunch today and tomorrow. Flowers will be $1 each and for an extra dollar, we will deliver to a student during 3rd period Friday.
Come and listen to new school board members Tony Moog and Sarah Byler speak to Davidson students at the next Club American meeting on Thursday, February 12th, in room 222 at 2:45. Discussions will include information about running for school board, plans for HCSD, and much more. We will also talk about current events in the United States. All are invited, pizza will be provided, debates are more than welcome, and don’t forget a friend. See you there!
The chess club is hosting a tournament Thursday February 19th at 2:40 in room 143. All are welcome to come to the tournament, please scan a QR code on our instagram or on the ads on the TV’s throughout the school to sign up.
Interested in traveling to the Galapagos Islands?? We are traveling there in the Summer of 2027 and will have an informational meeting tomorrow at 6:00pm in room 202! This is open to any Hilliard student currently in 8th-11th grade. Please see Mrs. Lucas or Miss Cooper with any questions!
This week Spanish Club is collecting non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items to support those in times of crisis via Corazon Deshilado (pronounced des-eee-lado). There will be a donation box outside of Ms Speakman’s room room 227 all week this week – bring in items such as beans, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, diapers and wipes. We appreciate your support in helping our community! We will also be collecting donations at our February Spanish club meeting on Tuesday, February 17th after school.
Hey Wildcats! Love styling, design, or working with your hands? Check out the new Fashion Design class! It’s not in the course of study, so search “Fashion Design” in Home Access to add it to your schedule. Have Questions? See Mr. Beam in Room 121 or ask your counselor.
Interested in joining choir or pop a cappella next year? Choir placements will be held March 23rd-25th. Scan the QR codes on the posters located around the music wing to register for your choir placement. No singing or music experience necessary. Email Mr. Dufford for more information.
