In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month we recognize Michelle Lynn Lujan Grisham. Lujan Grisham is an American lawyer and politician. She was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2011, serving three terms in Washington on behalf of New Mexico’s 1st Congressional District. Since 2019, she has been serving as the 32nd governor of New Mexico. She is the first Democratic Latina to be elected governor in U.S. history.
Attention students who took the ASVAB test. Please mark your calendar for Monday, October 23 at 9:30 to have your results interpreted. We will be meeting in the PAC and a pass will be sent out to you on that Monday morning. You must bring your fully charged iPad. All sophomores and juniors will be attending the Skilled Trades Exposition at the Franklin County Tuesday, Oct. 10. Please check your “Class of” Canvas page for your Bus #, Chaperone, and time you will be leaving on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Sophomores who have a 4th or 5th period lunch will eat during 6th period on that day. All Juniors will eat during 4th period lunch.
This weekend, Davidson Theatre will present its first show of the year – Peter/Wendy. Show times are Friday night at 7, and Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 2. Tickets are available at hilliarddavidsontheatre.com or at the door.

Auditions for the next show in Davidson Theatre’s Season will take place on Tuesday, Oct 10, after school in room 70. Audition packets for this student directed production can be picked up outside of room 70 or from Mr. Crawford in room 247.

The Parent informational meeting for wrestling will be held on October 24th at 6pm in the Davidson Commons . The change is due to parent teacher conferences on the 18th.
There is a mandatory meeting for anyone who wants to play boys lacrosse for the 2023-2024 season on Monday, October 9th, at 7 PM in the Commons.

Hilliard Davidson Girls Tennis is making history! All 7 Varsity players made it to the qualifying round at Sectionals. Shout out to Keely Guffey, Serene Alshami, and Greta Bordjadze for winning two out of three matches and finishing the season strong. Congratulations to our District qualifiers, Madison Kline, Mackenzie Kline, Brooklyn Murlin and Aila Mahefkey who won all three of their matches at Sectionals! They will compete this coming Weds. at Upper Arlington HS. This is the first time Hilliard Davidson Girls tennis has sent 4 players to Districts! Go Cats!
