Hey Davidson! Do you enjoy music and singing? If so, the choir program is inviting you to audition for next school year. Sign ups and try out information will be posted by room 60. Please contact Mr. Crowther or Ms. Chang if you have questions. Hope to see you there!

Attention Freshmen and Sophomores: Don’t miss out on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to climb Machu Picchu and serve local communities on a Service Learning Tour to Peru Spring Break of 2021. See a Spanish Teacher or poster in the hall for the QR Code to RSVP to the parent meeting on March 12th.

Freshman and Sophomores interested in Traveling to Europe, there will be a WWII Trip to England and France Spring Break of 2021. A Mandatory Parent Meeting is Wednesday March 20th . Contact Mr. Miller in Rm 205 for more details.

Applications for the 2019 Central Ohio Leadership Academy are due March 31st!
Students, apply to expand youth networks, perspectives and skills for impacting our community and the world!  Occurring July 22-27, 2019 current central Ohio High School sophomores and juniors graduating in 2020 or 2021 are invited to apply online through March 31st, 2019. Students must also submit one letter of recommendation by Friday, March 31, 2019. To learn more about the program and the application process, visit our website at www.coleadershipacademy.org.

Do you have an old cell phone, IPod tablet or other electronic device? Turn them into the main office for Gorillas on the Line to help with Gorilla Conservation. For more information look around the school for the Gorillas on the Line posters.

Good luck to all 4 of the Davidson bands as they perform this week at Thomas Worthington for OMEA large group contest.

SPORTS

Come out this Sunday to St. John Arena to cheer on the Varsity Competition Cheer Team as they compete at States. They are scheduled to compete at 4:05 p.m. Also, all members of the Varsity Competition Cheer Team please report to the Athletic Office immediately following announcements.

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team who is advancing to the District Finals with their win over Olentangy. Huge shout out to Wildcat Nation and everyone that came for bringing a ton of energy and making it a great environment to play in.

The Hilliard Hockey Varsity team will travel to Cincinnati to play in the Buckeye Cup Ohio High School State Championship. Games are on Friday at 5:15 pm and on Saturday at 9am and 4pm at the Sports Plus Arena. Semi-final and championship games will be played on Sunday.

Also, congratulations Peter Burback who represented Hilliard in the OSHL All-Star game held this past Sunday at the Chiller North.

Presale tickets are available for the Hilliard Davidson High School District Final Boys Basketball game versus Olentangy Liberty which is on Saturday (3/9/19) at 5:00 p.m. at the Battelle Grande Arena, 400 N. High Street, Columbus 43215 (aka/Columbus Convention Center). Presale tickets will be available one day only (Friday 3/8/19) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. out of the Hilliard Davidson High School Athletic Office. Tickets are $7.00 for Adults and Students both and must be cash only. As always…………………………GO CATS!
