Interested in being a part of the new Wildcat Welcome Center? Wildcat Welcome Center students will help new students adjust to Davidson. They will also help troubleshoot iPad issues. No previous experience required – just friendly faces and a study hall in your schedule next year! This is a great way to be involved in the school community if your after-school schedule keeps you from joining extra-curriculars. Bring your money for the Life Skills Brownie Sale this Friday, February 9th during lunch periods!

Seniors, one of the bigger scholarships, The Hollyfest, is due this Friday, February 9th.  All applications are due to the Guidance Office no later than 3:00 p.m.   This is an opportunity to be in the running for either a $2,000 or $8,000 scholarship. Don’t miss out.  Any questions please stop in the Guidance Office.

Auditions for the Spring Musical – Disney’s Little Mermaid – will take place on Wednesday Feb 21. Audition information packets and forms are available from Mr. Crawford in room 247, Mr. Dufford in room 60, or on the callboard outside of room 70.

Registration has been reopened for the Spring Break 2025 trip to southern Spain! If you are interested in possibly traveling, please see Ms. Cooper in room 226 with any questions. You can pick up an information letter from any Spanish teacher or Ms Wilson!

GSA meets in room 167 right after school on February 8th and 22nd for fun crafts and good conversation.

Don’t miss Davidson Theatre’s incredible Junior-Senior production of Our Town – often referred to as the greatest American play ever written. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 and Sunday at 2. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at hilliarddavidsontheatre.com.

The Chinese Club is celebrating Lunar New Year after school today Thursday, February 8th, in Room 121. We will have food, games, and crafts. Please join us to celebrate and have fun with your friends!

Attention all girls interested in playing Girls Lacrosse: There will be a preseason kickoff meeting for players and parents today, Feb 8th @ 7:00pm in the commons.  We would like all players and a parent in attendance as we will go over tryouts and details for the season.  If you cannot make it, please reach out to Coach Smock for details.
