Come and see the first theatre production of the year, Bedtime Stories as Told by Our Dad Who Messed Them Up. It will be playing this coming weekend on Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. Come support theatre and bring your younger siblings!

Come support the Hilliard Davidson orchestras next week on October 8th and October 9th! All orchestras will be playing festive music in the PAC at 7:00 to get into the fall spirit, and there will be an after party at Graeter’s in Old Hilliard after both concerts. Everyone is encouraged to come and listen to the music our groups have been working hard on since August!

Are you interested in engineering? Join our first Engineering club meeting after school on Tuesday, October 7th in room 147.

Round 2 of Homecoming Court voting is now live. Round 2 ends Wednesday night. 

Homecoming is NEXT WEEK and full of events to celebrate. Monday dress up for PJ Day and come to Movie Night showing Rio at 7 pm. Tuesday dress up as a soccer mom or BBQ dad. Wednesday dress up in neon and come to the Powder Puff games at 7 pm at Davidson’s stadium. Thursday dress up as a Tacky Tourist. Friday wear blue out for Crush Coffman, bring your school spirit for the pep rally, enjoy a hot dog during lunches, and come to the football game to cheer on the Cats and learn our Homecoming King and Queen. Finally, on Saturday enjoy a Night in Rio at the Homecoming Dance from 7:30 to 10 pm. Love to talk? Channel that energy by joining the Davidson Speech & Debate Club, where we want you to speak up! We will have our first meeting TODAY right after school in room 119 . Hope to see you there! 

Attention all students interested in Spanish Club – our first meeting will be today after school in the commons. We will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage month with food, drinks, candy and games. Spanish club is open to all Davidson students; come join us!

Juniors and Seniors, this is for you. Please be mindful that some colleges may now be tracking demonstrated interest during their application review process. An example of one college that does do this is Miami University. Demonstrated interest is a college admissions concept where colleges track and consider a prospective student’s actions that show genuine enthusiasm for attending a specific institution. These actions, or “touchpoints,” can include attending virtual or in-person events, such as college visits here at school, signing up for mailing lists, opening emails, engaging on social media and visiting campus!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the Wildcat Marching band on a successful performance this past Saturday. The band competed at the Northwest High School Band Competition. They walked away with awards for Best Auxiliary, Best Percussion, Best Visual, Best General Effect, Grand Champion, and Straight Superior Ratings from all 7 judges. Way to go Wildcat band!!
