Here are your announcements for today:

It’s Beat Darby Week!  Our annual tie dye shirts will be available for sale during all lunch periods for the rest of the week.  We only have a limited number of shirts this year, so make sure to buy yours early.  The shirts are $20 each and you can pay via cash, Zelle or Venmo.  Go Cats!

Students, if you plan on attending the Darby/Davidson football game on Friday, you will only be permitted to be on the HOME side of the stadium. If you are caught breaking any rules, including being on the wrong side of the stadium, you will be removed from the game. 

Attention students: if you are interested in learning more about the colleges visiting Davidson this week and want to meet their admissions counselors, please sign up in SchoolLinks.

College visits this week:

  • Today- Miami University, Capital University, College of Wooster, and Otterbein College
  • Friday- University of Pittsburgh

The Skilled Trades Expo is a field trip opportunity during school hours on September 17th for juniors and seniors to be able to meet multiple businesses hiring in the areas of construction, Fire and EMT, welding, masonry, and more!! If you want to be part of this field trip that has lots of hands-on experimentation, see Mr. Hunt in Room 166 or send him a message in your “Class of” course on Canvas.

Attention students: if you still have a key card to get into the building from last year, please turn it in to the Main Office ASAP! They are no longer active and do not work; however, in order to get them reactivated, we need them back. Thank you!

Interact Club is having their first meeting of the year! Join us on Tuesday, September 9th right after school in the ASL room for the meeting and stay after for a trash clean up around the grounds. Winners will receive a $10 gift card to Target! We hope to see you there.

Today is the first American Sign Language club meeting in room 202 from 2:45-3:30. Don’t know any ASL? No worries! There will be leaders for new signers and for those who want voice off practice. See you Monday!
