SENIORS! There is a ton of money in scholarships waiting for you to apply for for when you go to college that will go unclaimed right now- deadlines are coming up in the next one to two weeks! Log into your SchoolLinks account as soon as possible to check out these scholarships and ways to get FREE money!
For those of you who attended Tharp’s ACE program when you were in sixth grade, come join us for a Tharp Alumni event on March 27th from 3-6pm! There will be food, games and fun with all of your former ACE teachers, including Ms. Marcy! Anyone who attended ACE is welcome to attend!
Do you speak languages other than English? Are you interested in earning the seal of biliteracy? Please see Mr. Faska in the main office, Mrs. Braun in room 214 or Ms Dixon in room 167 to find out more on how to earn this seal.
The Davidson Interact Club is holding a winter clothing drive today and tomorrow during all lunch periods. Bring in any old sweatpants, coats, hoodies, etc to help out
Chess Club’s next tournament is tomorrow at 2:40 in Room 143. All are welcome! Register using the QR codes around the school or on our Instagram.
Senior Student Council Members are hosting a Blood Drive tomorrow in the main gym. Each unit of blood donated saves 3 lives! Anyone that is at least 16 can donate. If you are 17 you don’t need a parental permission slip. See Mrs. Rader in 207, talk to a senior member of Student Council or look for the QR codes in classrooms or on the hallway TVs to sign up.
Attention Boys Tennis: This week we will start open courts at Racquet Club on Thursdays from 3-4pm. If you plan to play this spring, make sure you are signed up on Final Forms. All communication will come from Final Forms and Student Square. If you have any questions, please reach out to Coach Murlin.
Baking club will be hosting a bake sale in the commons this Friday, January 23rd. Bring cash if you want a tasty treat during your lunch period.
Attention students! Get ready for a trip to Ireland in June 2027! We will travel to Dublin, Galway, and Killarney—and see the Cliffs of Moher and the Blarney Stone. Make memories that last far beyond high school. If you’re interested, attend the required parent meeting onnext Tuesday, January 27th at 7 p.m., located in Mrs. Short’s Classroom (Room 125) at Davidson High School.
