Good morning, Wildcats,

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance (recite pledge)

Here are your announcements for today:

Have you checked your Canvas messages recently?? Remember that Canvas is one of the better ways for your school counselor or for Mr. Hunt to get information from you, or to send you updates on opportunities available for you. Just click the “Inbox” button on the left side of the screen when you log in.

The Speech and Debate club will meet today after school in room 119. Hope to see you there!

Hey Environmental Club–Remember that we are meeting after school on Tuesday. We’ll debrief the Teen Eco Summit and work on our candy wrapper art project. New members are always welcome.

Interested in a career in healthcare, or just curious about how medicine is evolving? Come join the Future of Medicine Club this Wednesday, November 19th, after school in room 232 where we’ll be doing a bone scavenger hunt with a prize for the winning team and a debate activity on what the best healthcare career is. Hope to see you there!

Asian Youth Alliance will have our November meeting this Thursday in room 253 after school. Hope to see you there!

Attention to all Spanish club members – our annual Spanish Club friendsgiving is this Thursday after school in the Commons! We will be sharing lots of food and fun. Please sign up on the QR codes around the school TVs to let us know if you are coming. If you can bring food, please share that as well! The more, the merrier!

The Interact Club at Davidson is partnering with the Interact Club Bradley to host a canned soup drive competition! Our club will be collecting soups all of this week during 3rd period. The Davidson class with the most canned soup donated will win Donuts and fun drinks! Let’s beat Bradley!

We’re going to Spain! Join us for an informational meeting out the Spring Break 2027 trip to Spain tonight at 6:30 pm in the Media Center. Please see Ms. Cooper in room 226 for more information.

Seniors – scholarships are coming in much earlier than normal. Take advantage of the extra time to prepare for the requirements that each scholarship is requiring. Check out Schoolinks or see Ms. Mongolier for any questions.

If you are interested in doing Track and Field in the spring, please make sure that you and your parents are on Final Forms so you can receive our communication. Winter Lifting and Conditioning begins Monday, December 1st at 2:45. We will be lifting Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Please see Coach Aleshire or Coach Beatty if you have any questions.

That’s all we have for today. Make it a great day and GO CATS!
