Here are your announcements for today:
Senior Student Council members are sponsoring a Blood Drive in the Field House TODAY from 8 am to 2 pm. Sign up to save a life. The minimum age to donate is 16. Sixteen year olds do need parental permission. Get a permission slip from Mrs. Rader in room 207. Sign up using the qr code displayed on the TVs in the hallway.
The Red Cross Club will have a meeting Wednesday Nov. 5th after school in room 139. All students are welcome. See William Chen or Mr. Reese if you have any questions
Bowling Tryouts will take place next week- November 3rd and 5th at Ten Pin Alley in Hilliard for anyone who is interested!
We are almost done with college visits for the school year. The only one left for this week is Columbus State Community College which is tomorrow, third period. Sign up in Schoolinks and a digital pass will be sent to you through Schoolinks. Next week we have Cleveland State, University of Louisville and Lipscomb University, which will wrap up our visits for the year.
Did you know that candy wrappers can’t go in the regular recycling? Environmental Club is doing a candy wrapper drive. Please drop off your empty wrappers in the box outside of room 216 to help the environment this spooky season.”
Students interested in a career as an electrician, construction project manager, or foreman- there is a realistic job preview and open house scheduled with the Independent Electrical Contractors. They have connections with employers, and also help to start training as early as your senior year. The open house will be during the school day on November 19th. If you’re interested in attending, send Mr. Hunt a message in Canvas today!!
