Round 2 of Homecoming Court voting is now live! Voting ends TODAY Wednesday, September 13th. Go to your class of canvas course for the link. 

Wildcats, come Dance the Night Away at Homecoming on Saturday, September 23rd. Tickets are $20 for Davidson students and $25 for guests. Guests must be current Hilliard City School high school students or alumni under the age of 21. Tickets are now on sale on Local Level, and the link can be found on Student Council’s instagram @hdhs.sc

Quiz Team! If you love trivia, then join the Davidson Quiz Team to test your knowledge against your classmates! There is a meeting Thursday after school in room 119. We will be discussing competitions this year and how you can get involved! We hope to see you there!

Do you enjoy discussing current issues? Are you interested in ways to improve your public speaking? If so, then the Davidson Speech and Debate Club is for you! Join us after school every Tuesday in room 202. Hope to see you there this week!

Are you interested in wrestling ? The Wrestling team will be holding open mats every Thursday from 3:30pm-4:30 pm in the wrestling room until the start of the season. Come and check us out ! 

Attention Boys and Girls track & Field athletes. Beginning tomorrow,  Tuesday September 12th, there will be an opportunity for Field Event athletes to work on their events after school. Running and Lifting will be on Thursday’s beginning on September 14th. More information will be coming on Final Forms and Teamsnap.

A big congratulations to the Wildcat Marching Band on their outstanding performance this past weekend at the Hilliard Band Invitational held at Bradley High School. They received a rating of Superior, the highest rating possible, and had their best performance of the season! Way to go Wildcat Band!

College visits have begun! Visiting us on Friday is the University of Notre Dame and Ohio Wesleyan. On Monday we have Cleveland State and on Friday, Ohio Dominican. More schools will be signing up during the week. You can sign up in Schoolinks and a pass will be sent to you for the visit. See Mrs. Mongolier in Guidance with any questions. 

Reminder if you signed up to participate in powder puff as a player, cheerleader, or coach, you MUST pay the participation fee by TONIGHT! If not, your spot will be released to other students. If you have any questions, see Miss Mowery in 240.

The Chinese Club will meet after school at Room 212 today. We will play different games including Jianzi, Chinese Yoyo, and Tuoluo (Spinning Top). Come to play these exciting games and have fun with your friends! See you there!

Interact club is hosting a canned food drive during this Friday’s game against Darby. Drop off any canned goods or non-perishable food items at the Wildcat tailgate or at the gates when you walk into the game. All proceeds will go to the Hilliard food pantry!
