Bradley eNews – September 30, 2022

Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

As we head into fall and the final weeks of the first quarter, I would like to emphasize the importance of staying focused on academics. Please take time to talk with your child to ensure that all assignments, assessments, projects, etc. are complete prior to the end of the quarter Friday, October 14th. Remember that you can look up your child’s progress using Home Access at any time, so you never have to be in the dark about your child’s academic status.

Next weekend, Hilliard Bradley Theater presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Please come support our program and the wonderful students who have worked so hard on this production. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee runs from October 7th through October 9th. Performances on Friday and Saturday are at 7pm, and Sunday’s performance is at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased through Local Level. The link is on our website atwww.bradleytheater.com

Have a Great Weekend and Go Jags!!!

Career Tech Events for Parents of 6-12 Grade Students

In-demand, well-paid jobs in Ohio are going unfilled. Teens and families need information about these 21st-century career options in emerging technologies and how to gain the skills for these jobs. Ohio Technical Centers provide post-secondary educational opportunities in a wide variety of fields, including healthcare, computers, culinary, welding, HVAC, automation, and many more. Parents of juniors and seniors can join representatives from the Ohio Technical Centers and At the Core for an informative, free webinar on October 13 at 6:30 pm. Click here to register.

Parents of students in grades 6-12 can also attend an upcoming coffee chat to learn more about the “super electives” your kids can take in high school with Tolles and at the Hilliard Innovation Campus. Engineering, business, healthcare (pharmacy, nursing, exercise science, veterinary), computer networking, art design & communication, and more. There are three dates to choose from – one in person at the Hilliard Library (10/19) and 2 webinars (10/24 & 11/2).  Click here to learn more.

Hello Jag Families!

The Mental Health Specialists at Bradley have put together a brief video helping explain what their role is at school and how they can support your student. Watch the video here. Mentioned in the video is a link that goes to the interest form: linked here and a reminder about conferences on October 19th.

As mentioned, this form is to gauge your interest in topics that we can present during fall conferences in October! This will be an opportunity to discuss the topic suggested to us by families and include a chance to ask any questions you may have about the topic, mental health wellness, or how we can support you and your students.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to us.
