Panther Ambassadors: The next meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday, January 11^th after school in Ms. Strawser room #147.

Attention 8^th grade students attending Washington D.C. The next payment for the Washington D.C. trip is due this coming Friday, January 11^th.

Sports:

The 7^th and 8^th grade boys’ basketball teams battled a tough Dublin Karrer team last night. The 7^th grade jumped out to an early lead and hung on for the victory. After a sluggish start, the 8^th grade dominated the 2^nd half and cruised to a double-digit victory. The wins improved the 7^th grade to 10-0 and the 8^th grade to 9-1. The teams play next on Wednesday against Dublin Eversole

Saturday morning the girls flex team improved their record to 4-3 with a win over Memorial 42-7. Scoring for the Panthers were Bella Nelson with 12, Liz Elsass with 10, Addison Leonard 10, Yara Milhem 4, Kylie and Madison Morris with 2 points each. Piper Bair and Marissa Brannan contributed with excellent rebounding and defense. Thank you to the girl’s 7^th & 8^th grade teams for cheering on the flex team. What a great atmosphere!

Spirit Week is almost over. Tomorrow is our White out and our Students vs. Staff Basketball Game.

The cost to attend the basketball game is $1.00
7^th grade game will take place in the morning. 8th grade students will play in the afternoon after 7^th period begins.

Sports: Wednesday night the girls’ flex team improved their record to 3-3 with a dominating win over Grandview. 6 different Panthers scored in a balanced attack with Madison Morris leading the team with 13 points. Thank you to Mr. Gaston for attending the game, the team appreciated you being there.

SPORTS

The 8^th Grade Boys Basketball Team came back with a victory over Marysville. 43-37, great team effort!!!

The 7^th Grade Boys Basketball Team battled for a 42-37 road victory over the Monarchs of Marysville. After a big win over Pickerington on Saturday, the Panthers were a little sluggish but fought their way to the Monday night win. The Panthers improved their record to 7-0 and have a long break until they play Weaver on December 30th.

Heritage Girls Flex team enjoyed a scenic tour of Hocking Hills on the Holiday Road but was defeated by the Logan regular 8^th grade team dropping their record to 2-3. Leading the Panther in scoring was Liz Elsass and the leading rebounder was Piper Bair.
