Hilliard Bradley Is offering an amazing event to our students and staff on Friday, March 17, 2023, in the Media Center during all lunch periods 4-6.  This is for ANY student who is curious about the military, US Space force as well as finance, security and other opportunities for our country.

Lunch will be provided, and a RSVP must be given in order to attend, and ensure our numbers are covered.

Five airmen will be coming to Bradley HS to conduct a RAP (Recruiter’s Assistance Program). This will be an informational session where students have access to fresh airman, all from different career fields and some who have graduated locally from central Ohio.

The following Career Fields will be represented:  Bomber Crew Chief (B1-B Bomber), Aerospace Ground Equipment, Finance, Security Forces (our military police), and one member of the US Space Force (Space Systems Operations).

Girl’s Golf Team – Parent/Athlete Pre-Season Meeting on April 19, 2023 @ 6:30pm in the Aux. Commons.  The Girl’s Golf season begins on August 1, 2023.  At the meeting we will be discussing sports physicals, summer practice times, and the schedule for the season.  Anyone interested in joining the Girl’s Golf team should attend.

 

Girl’s Golf Team – Team introduction luncheon on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 after exams at 11:15am in the Aux. Commons.  Pizza, salad, chips and drinks will be available for lunch.  Every girl interested or just thinking about joining the team should attend.  See Coach West-McLinn in PA134 or fill out the google form if you are interested in joining the Girl’s Golf team next year (https://forms.gle/xZnryjCsC5ZnFjWF8)

Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

I would like to begin by thanking everyone that had a chance to come out and support our band and choir performances this week. It was great to see so many of our families come out and support the hard work of our talented students.

This week over 300 hundred of our sophomore students took the PSAT10 practice exam on Wednesday. We are excited to see the results of this exam and celebrate the growth of our students.

Congrats to our four Journalism students who have been chosen to receive the OCC Academic League 2023 Journalism Award as a representative of Bradley. Way to go Addison Maley, Ian McCormick, Eric Sese and Jessica Cline!  These students will be recognized at Bradley High School on Wednesday, March 15, at 6:00 p.m. during the OCC Journalism Awards.

This past Saturday, Shades of Blue won first place at the ICHSA Midwest Quarterfinals! They will advance to the Midwest Semifinals on March 18th, at Harrison High School, to compete for a chance to move on to finals in NYC.

Finally, this weekend, Hailey Amador and Mr. Robert Snyder will be competing in the OHSAA State Wrestling Championships at The Schottenstein Center. The competition begins at 1:00 p.m.

In order for athletes to participate, all of the following must take place. 

**Physicals must be updated prior to participation.  Upload two forms from the physical — Physical Exam Form and Medical Eligibility Form — to the parent’s Final Forms account (paper physicals will not be accepted).  **Both athlete and a parent/guardian must sign all forms in Final Forms.  **Participation Fees may be paid beginning March 1 and must be paid prior to the first competition through your MyPaymentsPlus account (check or cash will not be accepted).  All athletes, including free or reduced lunch, must complete the payment process through MyPaymentsPlus.  Free or reduced lunch must check out through MyPaymentsPlus by paying half (reduced lunch) or $0 (free lunch) payment.  Fees must be paid prior to the first competition.

ATHLETES MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITIVE SEASON UNTIL ALL OF THE ABOVE IS COMPLETED.

Child Find

Hilliard Schools is responsible for locating any child birth through 21 with a suspected disability who resides within the Hilliard School District.   The school district provides special education services to any child who qualifies as having a disability according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act ages 3 through 21 years of age.  If you know of a child who is suspected to have a disability, please call Jamie Lennox, Director of Special Education, at 614-921-7000 or contact your building principal for more information.

Test takers need to arrive at the normal time. Similar to a traditional school day, breakfast will be available in the morning for test takers. 

Non-Testers will have a DELAYED start. Lunch starts at 11:40 a.m. and regular classes start at 12 p.m. 

On testing days, there will be a brown bag lunch service. Limited brown bag lunch options will be available to students who receive or choose to purchase a school lunch. 

Buses will run at their normal times in the AM and PM. If Non-Testers need to ride the bus to school, they will report to the Commons area from 7:40 to 11:40 a.m. for a quiet study hall, then lunch. We suggest making prior arrangements for drop off on this day, if possible.
