IN THE NEWS

Key Club meets today after school in the Media Center. We will make orange ribbons to give to students and staff to wear on Wednesday for Unity Day. Join us for ribbon making and putting up signs to promote Unity Day, anti-bullying, kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

 

Jags of Clay is cancelled for this Tuesday, Oct. 19.  We will resume meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 9, after school in Rm. C105.

 

For Tuesday:

Pick up an orange ribbon at lunch to wear for Unity Day on Wednesday, October 20. Join Key Club in wearing orange to show unity for kindness, inclusion, and acceptance, and to send a visible message that NO ONE should experience bullying!

 

For Wednesday:

Today is Unity Day! Wear orange to prevent bullying and to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. ​​Join Key Club as we show our school and world that we are united for a kinder, more accepting, and inclusive world. NO ONE should experience bullying!

There will be a parent/student meeting for people interested in joining the Hilliard Bradley Ski and Board Club.  The meeting will be held at Hilliard DARBY on Wednesday, October 20^th, at 7pm, in the X Theatre.  Hope to see you there!

Students/Parents:  When a parent is dropping off something for their student, we will let the parent in to the vestibule to drop the item off on the table.  Please make sure there is a name on it (pen and sticky notes are provided), and that the student is aware it has been dropped off.

 

Parking tags for this year:  If you have registered your vehicle, please come to the Main Office to pick up your parking tag.

 

Bus notes:  At this time, transportation is not allowing students to ride home with a friend.  We will let you know if this changes.

 

Change or vending machine refunds:  The office does not have change or refunds.  For refunds, you will need to call the number on the machine.

 

Food deliveries:  Remember that no food deliveries are allowed during the school day.

GUIDANCE OFFICE-STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

 

Attention AP Students and Parents:  It is time to register for AP Exams.  Taking these exams gives you the opportunity to earn college credit.  Do not miss out on this opportunity!  The registration window will be open September 27^th – October 25^th.  Please note you must pay the exam fee to complete the registration process.  Being registered on College Board does not order an exam.  Payment must be completed to complete the exam order.  The cost of each exam is $96.  If you completed the free/reduced lunch application and were approved, you qualify for a reduced fee of $53 per exam.  Credit card (preferred payment method), cash or check are accepted.  You can pay with a credit card online at MyPaymentsPlus.  If by check please make payable to Hilliard City Schools.  Payment is due in full by October 25^th.  There will be a $40 late fee for any exam order after October 25^th.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Buscemi or Mrs. Wintrich in the Guidance office or they can be reached at Jessica_Buscemi@hboe.org or Melinda_Wintrich@hboe.org.
