Parent Voice in HCSD Curriculum

The Hilliard City School District’s Curriculum Department is excited to launch a multi-year curriculum revision cycle for several content areas. An important part of this process is seeking input from our parents on what is important to them in each content area.

The first content area that a district committee will revise is English Language Arts. If you are interested in providing feedback in regards to your child’s ELA curriculum, please click this link and respond to a brief, two-question survey. Thank you for your consideration.

Hilliard Education Foundation’s Denim and Diamonds is Back

The Hilliard Education Foundation is excited to bring back their in-person event, Denim & Diamonds. It will take place on March 4, 2022, at the Hilliard Heritage Golf Club from 7-11 p.m. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with strolling magicians, music, wine and bourbon pull, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and more.  You can support innovative learning for Hilliard Schools students while enjoying a wonderful evening. Get your tickets online at https://hilliardeducationfoundation.org/events/

Kindergarten Registration Open

If your child will be five years of age on or before September 30, 2022, they are eligible to start kindergarten during the 2022-2023 school year. Parents should visit the enrollment website (www.hilliardschools.org/enroll)  to complete online registration and sign up for a registration appointment.

Online Academy

Parents of Current 8-11th Graders: If you are considering the Online Academy for the 2022-2023 school year, please go to the Online Academy website to learn about our courses and the options for the year ahead. The Online Academy offers students three options: Full-Time, Half-Time, and A la Carte (1-2 online classes).

Whether selecting the Online Academy for a Full-Time, Half-Time, or A la Carte experience, we want to ensure you have the information you need to make this year-long commitment as the scheduling windows are about to open for next year.  All students taking online classes will need to complete the Online Academy Intent and Course Selection form during your scheduling window.  This form will be available on the Online Academy website  January 31 – February 25.
