Bradley eNews – March 22

Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

It is hard to believe that next Friday will be the start of spring break. As we begin to get into the final quarter of the school year, we ask that you have conversations with your students about the importance of finishing the 23-24 school year strong.  We are proud of all of the positive things our Jaguar students have accomplished this year and we are looking forward to the next few weeks.

Congrats to the Bradley Winter Guard on their first place finish yesterday at the MEPA Competition held at Troy High School. The HBWG scored an 82.98, which is the highest score earned by any group in their class so far this season. Their final competition will be April 6th at MEPA Circuit Championships, held at the Nutter Center.  Go Jags!

Next Tuesday, March 26th, we will be administering the (ELA) English Language Arts – Part 1 & 2 End-of-Course Assessment. Test takers need to arrive at normal time.  Similar to a traditional school day, breakfast will be available in the morning.  Non-Testers will have a DELAYED start. Lunch starts at 11:40 a.m. and classes will start at 12 p.m. March 26th Testing Information

Have a great weekend and Go Jags!

Parent and Community Preview of New Math Curriculum Resource

The Hilliard City School District is in the process of adopting a new math curriculum resource for grades/courses 6th-8th, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 called Imagine Learning Illustrative Math. This resource was also adopted last year for K-5 Math. We are excited to have continuity and a rich and rigorous math resource for kindergarten through Algebra 2.  During the next two weeks, the Board of Education and the community will have the opportunity to preview this new resource. We invite all families and the community to preview Imagine Learning Illustrative Math and if so desire, use the Feedback Form to provide feedback. Clicking on this link will provide a preview for our families. A sample display of the curriculum resource by grade level and course will also be available at Central Office on March 26-28 and April 9, 11-17. Visitors may come in person to preview the samples between the hours of 9:00 am-11:00 am and 2:00-4:00 pm.
