Bradley eNews – February 15

enews header

Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

As we head into the long weekend, I would like to thank our families who donated this quarter to the PTO staff coffee cart. Our staff truly appreciates the support shown by our amazing families here at Bradley.

On Wednesday, March 6th, from 7:40 am to 12:00 pm, we will administer the SAT to all Junior students. Students not taking the SAT will work remotely from home for the day. We will send more information about the day’s activities as we get closer to the date.

As we move through the second half of this school year, we want to emphasize the importance of our students being self-advocates, a key trait in our Portrait of a Learner. This means students recognize the importance of physical, mental, social-emotional, and digital wellness and can build a healthy self-image and self-esteem to pursue their individual goals.

Regular attendance is an essential part of this journey. Check out this video, where Samuel Davis, an executive business consultant, and parent, shares how these skills apply to all career pathways. Thank you for supporting your child’s regular attendance.

Finally, Bradley High School will be closed on Friday, February 16th, and Monday, February 19th. Students will resume classes on Tuesday, February 20th. I hope everyone enjoys their time with friends and family over the next few days.

Have a great weekend, and Go Jags!

district news

Monday, April 8, 2024

You should have received information on Wednesday about the shift in the district academic calendar on Monday, April 8, 2024.  Due to our proximity to the total solar eclipse pathway, students will not have school, but staff will report for a work day.

The April event will mark the first total solar eclipse visible in Ohio since 1806. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our students and staff, the district has purchased eclipse glasses for every student and staff member. These glasses will be distributed to students before they leave for Spring Break.
