Good Afternoon Bradley Families,
I would like to thank Ms. Ysseldyke for leading a successful Purple Star military recognition week. The Purple Star Award recognizes schools with a significant commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military.
Next Wednesday, April 24, we will administer the Algebra 1 and Geometry OSTs. Bradley High School will run on a modified schedule to accommodate the testing window allotted for students to complete the exams. For additional information about ELA II and Biology make-ups on Monday as well as testing on Wednesday, please see the following document. Spring 2024 Testing Information
On April 30th, Bradley High School will host a Career, College, and Military Expo for graduating seniors ready to enter the workforce or continue into higher education and for juniors who want to learn more to make informed decisions about their futures. This event is targeted toward current juniors and graduating seniors.
Finally, the Hilliard Bradley Theater presents Sponge Bob The Musical; the show will run on April 19th and 20th. The performance on Friday will begin at 7:00, and Saturday’s performances will begin at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased through Local Level. ATTENTION PARENTS OF CURRENT 11TH GRADERS
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.671, all students entering grade 12 are required to be vaccinated against meningococcal (serogroups A, C, W, and Y) disease.
A second dose of meningococcal vaccine is required prior to entry into the 12th grade. The second dose must be administered on or after the 16th birthday with at least 8 weeks between the first and second dose. If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine was administered after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required. If a child is 15 years of age or younger, only one dose is required.
Written proof of vaccinations includes a photo copy of your student’s immunization record or a signed statement from your health care provider. Records may be emailed, mailed, faxed, or dropped off to the school nurse. Contact information is below.

In order for athletes to participate, all of the following must take place.
**Physicals must be updated prior to participation. Upload two forms from the physical — Physical Exam Form and Medical Eligibility Form — to the parent’s Final Forms account (paper physicals will not be accepted).
**Both athlete and a parent/guardian must sign all forms in Final Forms.
**Participation Fees may be paid beginning March 1 and must be paid prior to the first competition through your MyPaymentsPlus account. All athletes, including free lunch, must complete the payment process through MyPaymentsPlus. Free lunch must check out through MyPaymentsPlus by paying $0 payment. Fees must be paid prior to the first competition.
ATHLETES MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITIVE SEASON UNTIL ALL OF THE ABOVE IS COMPLETED.

Hilliard Schools Summer Enrichment Registration Open
Hilliard City Schools will offer summer exploration and enrichment workshops for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, and online high school credit classes. All offerings will be based on the availability of staffing. Registration is based on the students’ current 2023-2024 grade level. Should our student registration exceed our available staff, we will let parents know by May 10th.

Musical Instrument Drive
If you are going through and starting your spring cleaning and find band or orchestra instruments just lying around, we’d love for you to consider donating them to our district. These will be used for beginner students with financial needs. You can bring them on April 27 to Station Sixth Grade School, door C6, from 10am-Noon. Hilliard Schools is responsible for locating any child birth through 21 with a suspected disability who resides within the Hilliard School District. The school district provides special education services to any child who qualifies as having a disability according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act ages 3 through 21 years of age.
