Good Afternoon,

It was a great week at Bradley High School. I would like to begin by congratulating the Bradley Winter Guard, under the direction of Ms. Watts, who completed their season last Saturday by capturing the Mid East Performance Association Scholastic Regional A Class Championship at the Nutter Center. The HBWG placed first out of 13 groups and, for the first time at championships, was unanimously 1st among all five judges. This is the Bradley Winter Guard’s 3rd MEPA championship (2019, 2023, 2024). Congratulations, Audrey Ahrens, Catherine Dorrian, Aly Galore, Natalie Huot, Emily Jefferson, Bex Lawrence, Tiffany Mam, Sophia Manring, Hailey Phillips, Grace Savage, Laura Togni and Emily Yu.

Finally, our students and staff started counting down until the last day of school. We are so close! We encourage you to keep up the good work of having your child in school every day. Already, you have helped us stay on track for our year-end attendance goal.  So far this year, we have seen a drop in the percentage of students missing ten or more days from 57% to 52%! The number of students who are chronically absent this year is just 39%. We still have work to do, but we are grateful for your partnership in prioritizing school.

I hope everyone can spend some time with friends and family this weekend. Go Jags!
