Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

I would like to take this time to say congratulations to all of our senior students and parents for their time and commitment to Hilliard City Schools. The class of 2022 has left a lasting impact here at Bradley and we are excited to see what this group will do in the future.

On May 24th we will hold senior breakfast beginning at 8:00am followed by mandatory graduation practice from 9:30am-12:30pm in the field house at Bradley. At the conclusion of graduation practice seniors will be released for the day.

Bradley High School’s graduation ceremony will be held Wednesday May 25th beginning promptly at 7:00 pm at the Schottenstein Center on The Ohio State University campus. Graduating seniors need to arrive no later than 6:00pm.

Finally, the week of May 23rd we will be administering final exams for underclassmen on Tuesday, May 24th through Friday, May 27th.  As we approach final exams please have a discussion with your students about the upcoming exam schedule  Click Here

Girls Who Code FREE Virtual Summer Programs 

Girls Who Code empowers students to learn, connect and make an impact through our free, virtual Summer Immersion Program and Self-Paced Program. Hilliard Litter Cleanup

Keep Hilliard Beautiful is your local Keep America Beautiful Affiliate. We hope that you can join us for a litter cleanup event on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 10 am to noon. We will be cleaning up the area around the Mill Run Square Shopping Mall. Meet at the northeastern most part of the parking lot in front of the Arhaus Outlet and Floor & Decor (look for KHB signs and staff near Exxon).  RSVP with your email or check the Go Green Hilliard Facebook page for event updates (facebook.com/GoGreenHilliard).

Wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes. Gardening gloves are optional. Cleanup supplies will be provided (grabbers, trash bags, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves). Safety vests are required and will also be provided. Kids are welcome with a parent.

Bus notes: At least through the end of this school year, visitors are still not allowed on buses.

NO Food deliveries: Remember that no food deliveries are allowed during the school day. Also, remember that basic lunches are still free in the cafeteria.

Parents / Students: If a student has a zoom/in-building appointment with an outside source, and they will be staying in the building for this, they still need a parent permission note for missing class(es). This is the same procedure as though they are leaving the building. They will need to sign out and back in at the Attendance office to make sure they get excused. It can be reported in School Messenger, or an email, hbrattendance@hboe.org, or give your student a note to give the attendance office.

If we don’t receive notification from parents, the student will be unexcused.

NO Change or Vending Machine refunds: The office does not have change or refunds. For refunds, you will need to call the number on the machine.

If you have started to drive and park at school, you will need to register your car. Go to Canvas, then “announcements” from the beginning of the school year, fill out the google doc and come to the Main Office for your parking tag. Reminder that parking for students is on the north side of the building. That is the lot between Bradley and Memorial all the spots in front of the stadium.

Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

It was another great week at 2800 Walker Road. I would like to begin by thanking Jerri Letcavits, Frances Robbins, Karen Poling and Stephanie Lambert our PTO for their help in celebrating our teaching staff during teacher appreciation week. The food, drinks and other gifts that were provided to our teaching staff were greatly appreciated. This year has been a special one at Bradley High School and our teaching staff are the people that make this happen for our students. Ladies, thank you for your time and thank you ladies for helping recognize our wonderful teaching staff.

Thank you to all of the parents, students and staff that had an opportunity to come out to last weekend’s performance of Mamma Mia. The Hilliard Bradley Theater team did a wonderful job of putting on a special event.

JOIN THE BRADLEY COLOR GUARD!

The Bradley Color Guard is an exciting group that performs with the Bradley Marching Band in the fall, both at Bradley football games and competitions throughout the state of Ohio.  This award-winning group is an integral visual component to the marching band show, and has been a huge reason that the marching band has had a great amount of competitive success over the last few years.

 

The Bradley Color Guard is known as one of the best color guards in the state; in addition to fall success, the Varsity and JV Winter Guards both recently placed 2nd in their respective classes at the 2022 Mid East Performance Association Championships held in Dayton.

 

If you are interested in joining this outstanding group, please plan on attending our training clinics in May (dates/times listed below). There is NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY to join, and membership is open to ANY Bradley student grades 9 through 12!  If you have any further questions, please email bradleycolorguard@gmail.com, or see Miss Watts in room A113.

Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

This week, we finished the Ohio State Test. All of our students did a great job of adjusting to the schedule changes and staying focused for the past few weeks. AP testing will begin this Monday May 2nd. Non AP tested classes will run as normally scheduled and AP students will test during the school day.

Tonight, April 29th the Hilliard Bradley Theater presents Mamma Mia! The show will run from April 29th through May 1st. Performances on Friday and Saturday begin at 7pm, and Sunday’s performance begins at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased through Local Level. The link is on our website at www.bradleytheater.com

Next Tuesday May 3, is a scheduled district professional development day for our teaching staff. The building will be open, but students will not be attending school. Regularly scheduled classes will resume on Wednesday May 4th.
