This week will wrap up our state testing period. We appreciate everyone cooperating during this time!
April 24 – Math Test Part 1
April 25 – Math Test Part 2
Testing period will be 8:00 – 10:15 am each of these days. Please remind students that they can bring a book to read if they finish early. Students will not be permitted to use any technology device.
Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time and well-rested during these testing days. They will do great!
We are getting close to the end of the year and, with that, brings many celebrations. Please make sure you are checking our calendar and this newsletter each week for updates.

Three Hilliard Schools Win State Award for Academics
Congratulations to both Weaver and Heritage Middle Schools and Crossing Elementary for achieving the Momentum Award for results on the 2022-2023 report card! The Momentum Award is for a school who has improved their performance index by 3 or more points from the 2021-2022 report card to the 2022-2023 report AND received a value-added rating of 4 or more stars. Hilliard Schools Summer Enrichment Registration Open
Hilliard City Schools will offer summer exploration and enrichment workshops for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, and online high school credit classes. All offerings will be based on the availability of staffing. Registration is based on the students’ current 2023-2024 grade level. Should our student registration exceed our available staff, we will let parents know by May 10th.
Child Find
Hilliard Schools is responsible for locating any child birth through 21 with a suspected disability who resides within the Hilliard School District. The school district provides special education services to any child who qualifies as having a disability according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act ages 3 through 21 years of age. If you know of a child who is suspected to have a disability, please call Jamie Lennox, Director of Special Education, at 614-921-7000 or contact your building principal for more information.
