Hilliard Heritage Middle School

Heritage SchoolPlay:  Are you interested in being a part of the Heritage SchoolPlay this year?  We are looking for 3 specific kinds of participants this year.
  1. Actors with speaking roles
  2. People to learn a dance routine and minor lip syncing (Non Speaking Part)
    1. I need 5 people to learn the dance to the song Bye Bye Bye by N’Sync and be able to perform it
    2. I need several others to create their own routine to 3 songs from the 70’s
  3. Of course STAGE CREW
If this is of interest to you there are flyers hanging up in both glass stairwells (the ones you can see Darby in, outside of Mr. Secor’s Room 128, and also in the Student Support office.  Please scan the QR code and that will enroll you into a canvas class with more info!   Auditions are this Wednesday and Thursday from 3-4:15pm! If you have any questions, please stop by and ask Mr. Secor in room 128.

Food Drive Challenge:  This week each of our W.I.N. periods will engage in a competition of giving.  ALL students are encouraged to donate items to the Hilliard Food Pantry by bringing any of the listed items below to their W.I.N. teacher.  Parents, please join us in this season of giving.

  • Non-Perishable Foods
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Chicken
  • Canned Tuna
  • Cereal (Kid Friendly)
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Meal Kits (Hamburger Helper, etc.)
  • Diapers (Sizes 4, 5, 6)
  • Personal Care Items (Shampoo, Body Wash, Deodorant, etc.)
  • Toilet Paper
  • Paper Towels
  • Wipes
Battle of the Books:. Battle of the Books students need to see Mrs. Tremayne today about our next meeting that will take place before school on Tuesday.  Please come to the media center today so Mrs. Tremayne can give you instructions about the meeting.

Game Club Meeting Dates for FIRST SEMESTER:
All meetings are from 3:30-5:00pm. Please have a way to get home at 5pm!!! This is a combined club between Weaver and Heritage.  Students are welcome to go to either school for meetings.

Heritage Middle School (HMS) Meetings will start in room 146

Weaver Middle School (WMS) Meetings will start in room 146

MEETING DATES and Locations:

Thursday, November 14 at WEAVER

Thursday, November 21 at HERITAGE

Thursday, December 5 at WEAVER

Thursday, December 12 at HERITAGE

Additional Info:
Students may come to Heritage or Weaver meetings or both.

1. Students are not required to attend meetings. Students may come to the meetings that work with their schedule.

2. Students must provide their own transportation to and from meetings. Please make appropriate arrangements.

3. Students do not need to bring anything to the meetings.  The advisors will provide video game systems and games for students to play.

4. Students may CHOOSE to bring handheld game systems like the Nintendo Switch to play. Just keep in mind that students may only play games rated E for Everyone during game club times.

5. Please no food or drink while playing video games.

6. Students must submit a permission slip in Canvas BEFORE attending a meeting. Students are not permitted to stay after school unless a permission slip is turned in.
