THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR IS COMING NEXT WEEK

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Heritage Middle School October 9 -13!!  Students can shop in person at the Fair throughout the school days that week in the Media Center; in addition, the Fair will be open before and after the Choir Concert on October 10 and after the Orchestra Concert on October 12 . Support our school and encourage the joy of reading.   Book Fair Homepage Visit the Homepage to preview the books and start setting up your e-Wallets now!

Cheer: If you intend on trying out for cheer for the 2023-2024 winter season, please scan the QR codes that are hanging around the building. We will have open gyms on October 10^th and 12^th from 3-4pm in the main gym. See Coach K in room 205 if you have any questions!

COOKING CLUB will meet Monday Oct. 9.  Meet in Ms. Strawser’s room 147 at 2:40. Please arrange for a ride at 4:00.  We will be making Apple Crumble Muffins.  Please let Ms. Strawser know if you are planning to attend.

Yearbook Club: attention yearbook club members, stop by room 167 and airdrop your pictures to MR. Martin for the yearbook!!

Attention 8^th Graders: Are you dedicated to academic excellence? Are you involved in clubs, organizations and sports at HMS? Do you spend your free time volunteering in your community? Are you a leader in your school and community? If this sounds like you, then you may be eligible to apply to the National Junior Honor Society. Take a look at our updated NJHS application for more details. Please speak with Ms. Jasper or Mrs. Geoit if you have any questions.

The 7^th Grade Football Team lost a very hard-fought game on Wednesday Night.  The Panthers played very tough on defense and did a great job working as a team to make some big tackles.  Offensively the Panthers moved the ball following great blocking from the offensive line!   The Panthers are back in action on Wednesday at Darby vs Big Walnut in the season finale!

The Panther Ambassadors will be promoting CANCER Awareness for the month of October. 

Get ready! Everyone please wear pink Friday, Oct. 6^th and we will even have an “Extreme Pink” contest where you can win prizes for wearing the best pink outfit! We are also honored to pay tribute to Ms. Ashli Jasper, a cancer survivor. Her positive determination and resiliency are a great role model for all of us!

Eighth-Grade Football team beat an undefeated Memorial team last night, 20 to 6. The entire team contributed to the win . Levi Keys and Romel Turner each had interceptions! Way to go Panthers! 

The Heritage Gymnastics team finished their season at the District Gymnastics meet on Wednesday October 4th.  Strong performances were made by Sophia Kremmes on beam, Addison Peters on bars, and Sydney Khosrowshahi on vault and floor.  Great season girls!!!

The Heritage 8^th Grade Football Team lost in a B game to Weaver Saturday morning.    Leading the way was Easton Showalter and Max Williams.     The boys are in action Wednesday night at 7 pm under the lights at Bradley High School vs. and undefeated Memorial team.  Good luck guys!!

The Heritage Gymnastics Team competed against Hilliard Memorial, Hilliard Weaver, Olentangy Berkshire, Olentangy Shanahan, and Tri Valley on Saturday.  Great performances were made by Sophia Kremmes on floor and Addison Peters on vault.  Sydney Khosrowshahi placed 10th on floor.  Great job girls!!
