The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Heritage Middle School October 31 through November 4! Students can shop in person at the Fair throughout the school days that week in the Media Center, along with the Fair will be available online for parents and families to shop from October 31 to November 13. The theme for this year’s Fair is Books Bring Us Together. Support our school by buying books, gifts, and encourage the joy of reading. Book Fair Homepage
LatinX/Hispanic Heritage Month:. In honor of LatinX Heritage Month, check out the books about LatinX characters and by LatinX authors on display in the Media Center. There is also a Collection in Destiny Discover that focuses on the Media Center books that celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Today’s featured books are inspirational biographies about LatinX people in the Biography section of the Media Center: My corner of the ring: a memoir from a champ by Jessalyn Silva as told to Brin Stevens and Sonia Sotomayor by Brigid Gallagher.
