Good Afternoon Families,
The students have done a great job refocusing on their school work as they prepare for semester exams in two weeks. Next week is our final regularly scheduled five-day week before winter break. The week of December 12th we will be administering semester exams on Tuesday, December 13th through Friday, December 16th. As we approach midterm exams, please have a discussion with your students about the upcoming exam schedule. Exam Schedule
Beginning tonight, Hilliard Bradley Theater presents Treasure Island. Please come support our program and the wonderful students who have worked so hard on this production. Treasure Island runs from December 2nd through December 4th. Performances on Friday and Saturday are at 7pm, and Sunday’s performance is at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased through Local Level. On Tuesday, December 13th and Wednesday, December 14th beginning at 7:00pm, Bradley High School will be hosting its annual Winter Fest in the Performing Arts Center. During Tuesday night’s event, the Bradley High School Art Department will also be hosting its Winter Art Show and Ceramics Sale from 6-8pm in the Bradley Art Hallway. Please come out and support the amazing work our Choir, Band, Orchestra and Art students have done to put on this event. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

In order for athletes to participate, all of the following must take place. **Physicals must be updated prior to participation. Upload two forms from the physical — Physical Exam Form and Medical Eligibility Form — to the parent’s Final Forms account (paper physicals will not be accepted). **Both athlete and a parent/guardian must sign all forms in Final Forms. **Participation Fees must be paid prior to the first competition through your MyPaymentsPlus account (check or cash will not be accepted). All athletes, including free or reduced lunch, must complete the payment process through MyPaymentsPlus. Free or reduced lunch must check out through MyPaymentsPlus by paying half (reduced lunch) or $0 (free lunch) payment. Fees must be paid prior to the first competition. ATHLETES MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITIVE SEASON UNTIL ALL OF THE ABOVE IS COMPLETED.

Student Parking at school: Please make sure you park in the student lot at the north (stadium) side of the building (the parking lot between Bradley and Memorial. There is no student parking in the front lots that face Walker Rd. We are starting to check cars parked in the front.
Still in place- NO Change or Vending Machine refunds: The office does not have change or refunds. For refunds, you will need to call the number on the machine.
JUST A REMINDER
If you drive to school, you will need to register your car. There is no cost, but you must be registered.
Go to Canvas, then “announcements” from the beginning of the school year, fill out the google doc and come to the Main Office for your parking tag. Reminder that parking for students is on the north side of the building. That is the lot between Bradley and Memorial all the spots in front of the stadium.
Parents / Students: If a student has a zoom/in-building appointment with an outside source, and they will be staying in the building for this, they still need a parent permission note for missing class(es). This is the same procedure as though they are leaving the building. They will need to sign out and back in at the Attendance office to make sure they get excused. It can be reported in School Messenger, or an email, hbrattendance@hboe.org, or give your student a note to give the attendance office.
If we don’t receive notification from parents, the student will be unexcused.

There are many clubs to join. Check the list on the Bradley website or stop in the office for the list to see what you might be interested in.

Please join us as we gear up for the State Leadership Conference held February 23-24, 2023. I will need to get a firm commitment for the competitive events you would like to participate in at the Conference. Please visit the Canvas page to view prep material for the competitive events. Continue to work on the Business Achievement Awards and looking at resources for the competitive events you have chosen. Hello current and potential new 2023 female golfers. The girls golf team will be holding its First Annual Holiday Party on December 14, 2022 at 11:30am in the Aux. Commons. All current team members are invited, but we would also like to invite new golfers interested in joining the girls team in the Fall of 2023. Lunch will be provided, time to play on the golf simulator, and a white elephant gift exchange. Don’t buy anything, just re-gift something (in good condition) that you have at your house. Wrap your re-gifted item and bring it with you to the party. Pizza, salad, dessert and drinks will be provided. Please use REPLY LINK to let me know you will be attending. Questions???
