Dental Care Information

Great news! Our school has partnered with Smile Programs…the mobile dentists to offer in-school dental care on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. The mobile dentists will be set up at Memorial Middle School. Bradley students who sign up will be walked to and from Memorial by a Hilliard City Schools staff member at their appointment time.

Sign up your child today at Patient Application for In-School Dental Care (myschooldentist.com)

Even better, dental care is usually at no cost to you. All insurance is accepted including
Medicaid and CHIP. For those without insurance, a low-cost self-pay option is available.

Convenient and comfortable

Our in-school dental program saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable
place for your child to receive gentle dental care from licensed local professionals.
Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants
when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings.

Dental care for a healthy life

Children who see a dentist regularly may have fewer health issues like:

  • Early tooth loss caused by dental decay
  • Gum disease
  • Heart disease
  • Impaired speech development

Help keep your child healthy, in school and learning.

Simply go to Patient Application for In-School Dental Care (myschooldentist.com) or complete a paper form.  Forms will be delivered to students before November 22.

Please return any paper forms to the building nurse by: December 6, 2023.

Contact Deborah_Ashline@hboe.org (Bradley and Memorial nurse) with any questions!

Master Facilities Plan Survey Results

We want to thank everyone who took the time to weigh in on the Master Facilities Plan survey.  More than a thousand community members voiced their thoughts.  This week the MFP committee met to discuss the results and focus on the next steps of creating options for the Board of Education.  You can see the results and follow along with future updates by clicking here for the MFP web page.

Cram the Cruiser Donations

Once again, this year, the City of Hilliard hosted a Cram the Cruiser event to collect winter clothing items from our community to benefit our Hilliard students.  We are overwhelmed by the generosity of this community.  Thousands of our students will feel the immediate impact of this program.  If your student is in need of winter items, please contact your school counselor or principal.

Kindergarten Registration – Save the Date

Hilliard City School District will begin Kindergarten Registration on January 8, 2024, for the 2024-25 school year.  If your child will be five years of age on or before September 30, 2024, they are eligible to start kindergarten during the 2024-25 school year.

Parents can access the registration website (on or after January 8, 2024) to complete online registration. Once you have completed the registration process and provided all required documentation, the Welcome Center will schedule your child’s kindergarten screening appointment for August.  Please don’t delay.  The District uses registration numbers in the spring to determine how many kindergarten classes will be offered at each building. Please make sure that your child is enrolled as soon as possible to secure a spot at the building assigned to your address.  Contact the Hilliard City Schools Welcome Center at (614) 921-7096 with questions.  For more information, please visit the Hilliard City Schools’ website atwww.hilliardschools.org.
