Good Afternoon Jaguar Families,

It was another great week at 2800 Walker Road. I would like to begin by thanking Brooke Germaine, Kathie Daniel, Karen Poling, Patricia Green, Jeff Schumaker and all of our families that donated time and money to help celebrate our teaching staff during teacher appreciation week. The food, drinks and other gifts that were provided to our staff were greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and thank you for helping recognize our wonderful teaching staff.

Senior parents, Tuesday, May 16th is senior IPAD turn. Bradley seniors will return their IPADS to the Media Center after they finish their exams.

Next Friday, May 19th, will be the seniors last day of school at Bradley High School. The day will be full of events for our Class of 2023 and we are looking forward to celebrating with them.

Wednesday, May 24th we will hold the senior breakfast beginning at 8:00am followed by a MANDATORY graduation practice from 9:30am-12:30pm in the field house at Bradley. At the conclusion of graduation practice seniors will be released for the day.

Bradley High School’s graduation ceremony will be held Thursday, May 25th, beginning promptly at 7:00pm at the Schottenstein Center on The Ohio State University campus. Graduating seniors need to arrive no later than 6:00pm.

Tonight, Friday May 12th the Jaguar A Cappella groups will present their final concert of the year in the Bradley Performing Arts Center at 7pm. Memorial’s Blue Notes and Bradley’s three groups WAVE, ECHO, and Shades of Blue will be performing.

ATTENTION SENIORS:

Key Club’s last meeting will be Monday, May 15, afterschool in the Media Center.  Members will receive their Membership Certificates, Seniors will be honored, and new officers will be elected for next year.  Come for the celebration!

Society of Women Engineers will meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month.

Girl’s Golf Team – Team introduction luncheon on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 after exams at 11:15am in the Aux. This week, we finished the Ohio State Test. All of our students did a great job of adjusting to the schedule changes and staying focused for the past few weeks. AP testing began this Monday, May 1st. Non AP classes will continue to run as normally scheduled and AP students will test during the school day. This past weekend Shades of Blue traveled to the ICHSA National Acapella competition in New York City. I am pleased to announce that they placed first out of 212 teams that competed this season and are National Champions! Congratulations to the following student: Annabelle Brock, Addison Creeger, Sydney Driscoll, Sofia Italiano, Brayden Laslo, Callene Laslo, Quinn Mazon, Kyle Metzler, Jared Morisue, Iain Neff-Tolber, Jay Phillips, MaKenna Sandy, Tyler Seymour, Devan Shanmugam, Emerson Swendal, Lance Thongsavanh and Skylar Zakrzewski.

Finally, the last week of school we will be administering final exams for underclassmen on Tuesday, May 23rd through Friday, May 26th.  As we approach final exams, please have a discussion with your students about the upcoming exam schedule.  Exam Schedule

Next Tuesday, May 2, is a scheduled district professional development day for our teaching staff. The building will be open, but students will not be attending school.

Wednesday, May 3rd, we will be administering the Algebra and Geometry OST’s. Bradley High School will be running a modified schedule to accommodate the four-hour testing window that is allotted for students to complete the exams.  During testing times, AP teachers will be running review sessions for non-testing students to help prepare AP students for their upcoming exams in May. Regularly scheduled classes will resume on Thursday, May 4th.

Senior parents, as we continue to go paperless, please make sure to access Canvas and the “Class Of” pages to continue to get information pertaining to senior events. Please click the following link for information about senior activities and graduation.

Hello Jaguar families!

We are excited to show our appreciation to all of the Bradley HS staff this year during Teacher Appreciation week, May 8-12.  PTO is organizing the last Coffee Cart and Staff Lunch.  We are asking for some donations to make these two events really special for staff.

Testing Information This Week

Wednesday, May 3rd

WHAT:  Algebra 1 and Geometry  – Part 1 & 2 End-of-Course Assessment

WHO:  ALL students enrolled in one of the following courses: Algebra 1, Geometry, Honors Geometry

WHERE:  Classrooms throughout the Building

WHEN:  7:40 a.m.

Spring State Testing Schedule 2023

Test takers need to arrive at normal time. Similar to a traditional school day, breakfast will be available in the morning for test takers. See adjusted schedule for afternoon classes.

Non-Testers will have a DELAYED start. Lunch starts at 11:40 a.m. and regular classes start at 12 p.m.

On testing days, there will be a brown bag lunch service. Limited brown bag lunch options will be available to students who receive or choose to purchase a school lunch.

Buses will run at their normal times in the AM and PM. If Non-Testers need to ride the bus to school, they will report to the Commons area from 7:40 to 11:40 a.m. for a quiet study hall, then lunch. We suggest making prior arrangements for drop off on this day, if possible.
