Tharp Band
The Ensembles
Tharp Band is a beginning band program. All students who are interested in playing a band instrument are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Tiger Band is a select group of students from the full Tharp Band and is an opportunity for high-achieving students to practice and perform more challenging music and musical concepts. There are 3 sessions of Tiger Band throughout the year. Students are identified for Tiger Band through playing assessments and daily participation. Tiger Band practices twice a week after school and has additional performance opportunities.

General Information
Welcome to the Tharp band webpage! It is a year long elective. We meet in class everyday for 44 minutes. We have 2 evening concerts and 2 in-school concerts every year.
