Memorial Choir
The Ensembles
7th Grade Treble Choir is made up of treble-voiced students in the 7th Grade at Memorial Middle School. The ensemble is open to any student wishing to sing in choir. They are directed by Mrs. Kelsey Burkett.
7th Grade Treble Choir is a beginning to intermediate level ensemble. Literature is chosen from the OMEA Class C and B level and consists of SA and SSA voicing. 7th Grade Treble Choir is divided into two sections that meet every day during the school day.
8th Grade Treble Choir is made up of treble-voiced students in the 8th Grade at Memorial Middle School. The ensemble is open to any student wishing to sing in choir. They are directed by Mrs. Kelsey Burkett.
Many students are returning members. Literature is chosen from the OMEA Class A level and consists of SA, SSA, and SSAA voicing. The 8th Grade Treble Choir is divided into two sections that meet every day during the school day.
Tenor-Bass Choir is made up of students with changing voices in the
7th & 8th Grade at Memorial Middle School. The ensemble is open to any student wishing to sing in choir. Tenor-Bass is directed by Mr. Jeremy Witt.
Many students are returning members. Literature is chosen from the OMEA Class C and B level and consists of TB and TTB voicing. The Tenor-Bass Choir meets every day.
The Tenor-Bass Choir performs four school concerts a year.
Blue Notes is the the middle school group in the Jaguar A Cappella program. This auditioned ensemble is made up of 7th and 8th Grade singers who are also involved in one of Memorial Middle School’s curricular choirs. Blue Notes rehearses weekly after school. This ensemble serves as the training ensemble for the high school Jaguar A Cappella groups. Blue Notes is directed by Mrs. Burkett
