The Eighth Grade B Football Team lost to Memorial last night 18 to 6 the eighth grade team is back in action on Thursday at upper Arlington Hastings go panthers

Heritage Girls Tennis Team lost a hard fought match last night 2 to 3 against Upper Arlington Jones Middle School. Strong wins were made by Mia Prak and Madison Morris who won in a tiebreaker.  Netters are playing tonight against Lancaster at Hilliard Darby courts starting at 5:30.  Good luck girls!!

The Hilliard Heritage Boys Golf Team had an Exhibition Match against Weaver Middle School at Rolling Meadows Golf Course last night. The Panthers had a tough loss against Weaver losing 218 to 208. Scoring for Heritage was Trevor Starnes 52, Mason Gloeckner and Jacob Limbird with 55, and Ben Boring with 56. Also playing last night were Bentley Jett 57 and Ian Cercone 59. Great effort guys! The Boys Golf Team has two events left in their season with the Hilliard Cup on Thursday night VS. Weaver and Memorial and the Marysville Blues Creek Invitational on Saturday.”

Middle School Social on Friday, October 7thPlease join us in an evening of fun and entertainment on M.S. Night, Friday Oct. 7th. There will be a M.S. Social on Friday Oct. 7th from 4:30 -6:00 pm in the Darby Field House. Admission is $5.00 and you must have a wrist band to enter. Wristbands can be purchased during lunch periods Thursday Oct. 6th and Friday Oct. 7th. Please DO NOT lose your wristband. The wristband will get you into the social as well as the varsity football game that evening. There will be a D.J. and a raffle. PTO will be selling pizza, drinks, and snacks as well.

National Hispanic Heritage Month:  Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.  Check out the books about LatinX characters and by LatinX authors on display in the Media Center.  There is also a Collection in Destiny Discover that focuses on the Media Center books that celebrate this month.  Today’s featured books: Newberry Medal winner, Merci Suarez Changes Gears, and Merci Suarez Can’t Dance by Meg Medina. These books describe the life of a middle school girl in Florida who lives with her extended family and deals with fitting in at school and coming to terms with her beloved grandfather who has Alzheimer’s.
