8th Grade Football: 8th grade football BEAT Beulah Park 56-18. Maddox Hart led the team with 3 interceptions and 3 touchdowns. Come out on Wednesday as the boys take on crosstown rival…..Weaver. 7pm at Darby.

National Junior Honor Society

Attention 8th graders! Are you dedicated to academic excellence? Are you involved in clubs, organizations, and sports at HMS? Do you spend your free time volunteering in your community? Are you a leader in your school & community? If this sounds like you, then you may be eligible to apply to the NJHS! See Mrs. Geoit or Ms. Jasper with any questions.

8TH GRADE WASHINGTON DC TRIP

The final registration deadline for the trip has officially passed. We will meet with all students registered for the trip on Wednesday, September 3rd during their WIN period to go over the roommate selection process as well as other specifics as we prepare for the trip. Final payment is due September 12! We will have a mandatory meeting for all trip goers and their families on Thursday, September 25th at 7PM in the Heritage Cafeteria.

Boys Golf

Monday – The boys golf team shot their best round of the year losing a close match to Memorial 180-177. Cole Lybarger was medalist shooting a 39.

Thursday – The boys golf team lost a very close match to Worthington by 2 last night. Leading the way for Heritage was medalist Cole Lybarger shooting a 43. The boys play tonight vs Worthington Christian.

Friday – The boys golf team won over Worthington Christian by 4 strokes. Angelo Gum was the Medalist shooting a 38. Great team effort on the course.

7th grade volleyball- The 7th grade team came out strong and defeated John C. Dempsey Middle School in straight sets! The team’s energy and teamwork were on full display as they continued their great start to the season.

The 8th grade football team totally destroyed Jackson last night. 34-14. Leading the way was Jayden Petterson and Gabe Boyer on defense. The offense was led by Kellen Boff, Maddox Hart and Zac Chillman. The boys are in action next Thursday at Groveport.

New Cafeteria Payment System

Hilliard City Schools is upgrading the system we use in our school cafeterias. This change will help families better manage their child’s meal account.

Because of this upgrade, parents will need to **set up new automatic payment options** through the MyPaymentsPlus website. Any deposits made using the old setup will not go into your child’s meal account.

Please note: MyPaymentsPlus.com is run by a company called Horizon Software. If you have trouble using the website, the Hilliard Food Service Office won’t be able to assist. Instead, please use the help and support tools found directly on the **MyPaymentsPlus** website.

Introducing ParentSquare: Streamlined School-to-Home Communication

Welcome to ParentSquare! We are excited to adopt this new form of school-to-home communication. ParentSquare is designed to keep parents informed and facilitate participation at school. It provides a safe way for the school principal, teachers, staff, and parents/guardians to:

Be sure to use the same contact information in HomeAccess that you use for ParentSquare so your students are automatically connected to your account.
