Happy Birthday: Ellia Oster

School Photos:  School photos and picture re-takes are tomorrow, Friday, October 1^st.  If you would like a re-take, please bring back your photos from August and return to the photographer.

Congratulations to the Heritage Girls Tennis Team on their win last night against Lancaster.  The netters shut out Lancaster with a score 5-0.  Two standout performances came from Madison Morris in a tiebreaker 10-3 and second doubles of Abby Bolton & Sarah Khafagy in tiebreaker 10-3.  Nice job netters.  The team hosts Upper Arlington Hastings tonight at Heritage tennis court.  Good Luck!!

The Girls Golf Team beat Fairbanks last night in their last golf match 207 – 248 at Marysville Golf Club. Brielle Starnes was medalist shooting a 43. The girls concluded their first official season going 13-1. Great job girls! Both golf teams combine tonight in the Hilliard Cup at Heritage Golf Club vs. Weaver and Memorial.

The 7th Grade Football Team came away with another victory last night as they beat UA Hastings by a score of 20-6.  Collin Boff threw 2 touchdown passes to Brock Jackson and then Kohen Kornagay ran a long way for another touchdown.  The Panthers have two more weeks left in their season as they finish up with Memorial next week and then Walnut Springs.

Panther Ambassador Reminders:
T-Shirt sales are open! As we talked at the meeting last week, we will have Panther Ambassador shirts available for purchase to wear at school and any events you volunteer at. This is NOT mandatory. If you would like to purchase one, they are $12.00. Exact change is preferred but check is also ok! This can be turned into Mrs. Tracey in the main office through next Monday October 4th. Checks made payable to Heritage Middle School.

-The green leadership forms are due by Friday, October 1st this week! You can turn these into any of the four advisors!

-Great job at the Pledge of Allegiance in the mornings! Keep up the great work. Also, the calendar for the pledge has been updated so check it out if you forgot what you signed up for!

Missed the first meeting but still want to get involved??? Please see any of the four advisors on how! We will get you looped into the club and are excited for any new faces to join in on the fun!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade “B” Football Team for beating Memorial last night by a score of 20-0Jude Johnson, Taryn Walters, Wes Maul, and Landen Bosart all scored for the panthers!  The defense was dominate in another shut out, it was a great team effort.

Heritage Girls Tennis played Jones Middle School Monday night at Upper Arlington.  The netters fought hard but lost 0-5.  The girls will travel to Lancaster Wednesday night to play against Lancaster. Best of luck netters!!

Happy Birthdays: Gavin Goodman, Chaila Williams, Antonella Nelson, Haley Nelson

The Heritage Gymnastics Team placed 1st in their meet against Weaver, Memorial, Tri Valley, and River View on Saturday.  A great contribution was made by Analise Tripp on beam.  Tarah Wojnarowski placed 6th on bars.  Henna Burnham placed 4th on vault.  Addie Watson placed 6th on bars and 6th in the all around.  Maddie Spurrier placed 4th on vault and bars, 2nd on beam, and 4th in the all around.  Great job girls!!!

The Lady Panthers Golf Team picked up another win last night against Columbus School for Girls at Rolling Meadows. The score was 193 – 220 with Brielle Starnes shooting a low score of 42 earning her Medalist for the evening. Other scores that contributed were Caroline Donato with 46, Sia Hobart 51, and Emme Laemmle 54. Great job girls! They are now 8 – 1 on the season.

You will have the opportunity to meet others and have FUN while   designing and supporting Heritage activities.  YOU make our school even a better place to be!    Our first meeting is WEDNESDAY,   September 22nd in the library from 2:45 until 3:30! Battle of the Books:
Information sessions about Battle of the Books club will be held in the Media Center during recess today, and Wednesday (September 21-22).  Come to one of the sessions to find out more about this reading club and competition.  For more information, see Ms. Best in the Media Center.

Drama Club will be meeting, today Tuesday, September 21 after school in the Media Center

Diversity Club: If you are interested in joining Diversity Club, please scan one of the QR codes hanging around the building. The purpose of Diversity Club is to provide a safe space for students to socialize, discuss things that are important to them, celebrate one another, and have fun! Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 22nd after school until 3:30. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. K in room 204 or Mrs. Glass in room 243.

Sewing class:  Are you interested in learning more about sewing and constructing some easy fun items this is for you. Check the hallway for fliers next week or stop by Ms. Strawser’s room 147 to get the details. The first meeting is Monday, September 27 after school until 4:00
