Media Center Announcement: Could you please make an announcement at the end of the day today that anyone interested in working in the Genius Bar this coming semester should pick up an application in the media center.

Great match tonight for our boys golf team. Andrew Donato was the medalist (lowest score) with a 38. Four players shot lowest score of the year Jayden Reichert, Luke Riley, Isaac Fonzi and Reid Biniker. Our team score of 178 was the lowest of the year.

The 7th grade football team kicked off their season with a 28-6 win over UA Jones on Wednesday night. The Panthers played TOUGH defense and executed on offense. Scoring for the Panthers were Maddox Hart, AJ Hernandez, Zavier Hunter, and Myles Sankey.

In an additional quarter the Panthers tied 6-6. The excitement of the quarter came on a 70 yard inception return for a touchdown by Cole Gillman as time expired. Overall it was a great TEAM win! Go Panthers!

Athletics:
Students will have the chance to purchase ‘Beat Davidson Shirts’ on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during lunches this week. They will be wearing these shirts during the ‘Blackout’ Friday night football game at Davidson High School. As reminder to our families, Darby/Heritage athletics passes DO NOT work at away events (including the other Hilliard schools).

Important Technology Message:
The district was experiencing an issue that was impacting the ability of some students to download apps to their district iPads. If your student is not able to download apps needed for classes, please direct them to take their iPad to the Media Center for support with this issue. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!

Cross Country:
The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams hosted the Hilliard Middle School Tri Meet last night. The Boys’ team came in first place. The Girls’ team finished third with one point behind second place. Go Panthers!

Gymnastics:
The Heritage Gymnastics team participated in their first meet last night against Hilliard Memorial, Hilliard Weaver, Worthingway Kilbourne, and McCord Perry. Strong performances were made by Sydney Khosrowshahi on beam and Sophia Kremmes on floor. Addison Peters finished 8th on beam. Great job girls!!

Heritage boys’ soccer earned a hard fought 2-2 draw against Rosemore MS tonight. Goals scored by Mohammed Jarad and Caden Robinson.

Heritage 8th grade football won 22-8 over Marysville. Ladon Rogner and Romel Turner lead the team on offense. Quiten Bomer lead the defense. Way to go boys.
