The Panther Ambassadors will be promoting CANCER Awareness for the month of October.

Cancer Awareness Month:  Get ready! Everyone please wear pink Friday, Oct. 6th and we will even have an “Extreme Pink” contest where you can win prizes for wearing the best pink outfit! We are also honored to pay tribute to Ms. Ashli Jasper, a cancer survivor. Her positive determination and resiliency are a great role model for all of us!

Social @ Darby HS before Football Game is today, Friday, September 29th. Tickets will be sold at lunch starting Wednesday.

Sports:
The 8th grade football team beat Hastings last night 30-14 to improve their record to 6-0.   Leading the way was Levi Keyes, Landon Rogner, and Zach  Arshenovitz.     The boys are back in action Saturday at Weaver 9 am.   Way to go boys!!

Battle of the Books and Book Club Meeting on Wednesday, September 27

Student Book Club:  DO YOU LIKE TO READ? COME TO THE BOOK CLUB MEETING ON WEDNESDAY AT RECESS!  There will be an informational meeting during Recess on Wednesday, September 27, in the Media Center.  Come find out about the Battle of the Books competition, along with the after school Book Club. Pick up a pass from the Media Center today or in the morning on Wednesday to show one of your Recess teachers and then come to the Media Center.  Ms. Best will talk about the club and start introducing the books that we will be reading. See you on Wednesday during Recess in the Media Center!

Picture Retakes:  If you were absent on Picture Day, or want to return your pictures and have a retake, the day will be this Friday, September 29th

The 8th Grade Football Team lost a Memorial last night in a B game. 24-6. Max Williams and Luke Marshall lead the defense the boys are in action Thursday at Hastings
