First Time Riders – August 8, 2026

Hilliard City Schools is excited to welcome our newest bus riders and families to the First Time Riders Event on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at Hilliard Davidson High School (Band Practice Lot/Transportation Center), 5100 Davidson Road, Hilliard, OH 43026.

This special event is designed to help students feel comfortable, confident, and ready for their first day of school. Students will have the opportunity to learn important bus safety tips, explore a school bus, practice riding the bus, and meet members of our transportation team.

Families can enjoy a morning filled with interactive activities, hands-on learning opportunities, and fun for all ages. Students will learn what to expect when riding the bus, how to safely enter and exit, and important routines that help make every ride a safe one.

The First Time Riders Event is the perfect way to ease those first-day jitters and build excitement for the new school year. We can’t wait to welcome our newest riders and help them start the year with confidence!
