As part of the Hilliard City School district, the Britton Norwich Learning Campus is committed to preparing every student, without exception, to be ready for tomorrow.
At BNLC, we design experiences that allow our students to demonstrate the skills and mindsets of the HCSD Portrait of a Learner: empathetic citizens, critical thinkers, purposeful communicators, self-advocates and resilient learners in order to positively contribute to society beyond the four walls of our buildings.
First and foremost, we strive to make every student feel safe, cared for and valued within our community. We hold morning meetings, implement restorative practices, and proactively incorporate positive behavior supports within both buildings. Specifically, we use the Zones of Regulation and LEAD like a Lynx, our new Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS).
Britton-Norwich Learning Campus is devoted to empowering students to achieve their unique potential within a rigorous, innovative, and collaborative learning environment. We believe in integrating an individual’s unique experiences, interests and daily lives into these everyday learning experiences.
We believe in access to grade level content as part of our mission to challenge students’ thinking in new and interesting ways. The Britton Elementary and Norwich Elementary staff members implement our Board adopted curriculums, Wit and Wisdom, Illustrative Math, Core 95 Phonics, and Core 95 Vocabulary Surge. These resources are evidence based and approved by the State of Ohio.
