Celebrating Our Schools
The latest Ohio State Report Card gives us plenty of reasons to celebrate across Hilliard City Schools.
Five schools earned the highest possible 5-star rating:
- Avery Elementary
- Ridgewood Elementary
- Scioto Darby Elementary
- Washington Elementary
- Tharp Sixth Grade
Congratulations to the students, teachers, staff, and families at these schools!
We are also proud to see eight schools improve their overall star ratings from last year:
- Alton Darby Elementary — 3.5 stars
- Britton Elementary — 4 stars
- Hoffman Trails Elementary — 4.5 stars
- Horizon Elementary — 4 stars
- J.W. Reason Elementary — 4 stars
- Norwich Elementary — 3.5 stars
- Station Sixth Grade School — 4 stars
These results reflect the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and families. Across the district, we are seeing stronger achievement, improved literacy outcomes and continued progress in closing achievement gaps.
As a district, Hilliard earned 4.5 stars overall, including 5 stars in Gap Closing and 4 stars in Graduation, with a 94% weighted graduation rate. Third-grade reading proficiency increased by 6%, and K-3 literacy improved by 11%.
We are incredibly proud of our Hilliard students and staff. We will continue celebrating this progress, learning from the data, and providing students with the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
