Instructions
Tutorials to help you backup your files, share select files, or delete files you don’t need.
Network Account
Access to your district login will end on the following date. This will end your access to all district systems and websites.
- Leaving during the school year – your ability to login will end at midnight on your last day in the building.
- Leaving at the end of the school year – your ability to login will end 14 calendar days after your last day in the building.
District Server (L) Drive Files
- Open up your Google Drive
- Using the + button, create a new folder and title it “L Drive Backup”
- Within your new folder, use the + button to either select files from your L drive OR use the + button to upload folders from your L Drive
- Alternatively, you can bring an external storage device and use a school desktop computer to transfer files onto that device
Microsoft OneDrive (if you use OneDrive)
- There is no “bulk download” option available
- Log in to your Microsoft account, download files you wish to keep, and save to your Google Drive, Network Drive, or external drive.
Adobe Express and other Adobe tools (if you use Adobe tools)
- There is no “bulk download” option available
- Open Adobe Express and navigate to Your Stuff
- On a desktop: In the top right corner of each project, select the 3 dots, then Download. On an iPad, open the project and select the Download (down arrow) button..
- Choose the desired file format.
- Choose the desired location.
- If downloading to a school device, move your files to a desired location: AirDrop files to a personal device, transfer files to Google Drive, transfer files to a flash drive or external storage device.
Notability
- Option 1: To Export your notes to PDF
- Go to the Library (the main screen where all your notes are listed).
- Tap the three dots (…) in the top right corner and select Select Notes.
- Tap the notes you want to export (or use “Select All”).
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose file format > PDF then tap Share
- Choose destination > Google Drive
- If you want, you can create a new folder in My Drive before you export

- You will have access to your email until the date listed at the top of this page. Clean up or forward any emails that you want to keep to a personal email before that date.

Google Drive Files
- To Export your Hilliard Google Content using Google Takeout to a personal Google account (GMail). This can be done on your iPad or a computer.
- Log into your Hilliard City Schools Google account
- Click on your Google profile in the top right
- Choose ‘Manage your Google account’
- Choose ‘Start Transfer’
- Follow the subsequent steps to transfer your data to your personal Google account
Apple iCloud Files
- Option 1: Transfer content from your iPad to a personal Apple device → Use Airdrop
- Here are Apple’s instructions
- Option 2: Log into icloud.com on a computer with your Apple ID credentials. Download any files you want to keep to that computer. If using a school computer, bring a portable storage device to transfer everything to so you can take home with you.
Device Cleanup and Turn In
Turn in your device(s) in the Media Center or the IDC on your last day
