Kindergarten 25-26 Information

Dear HCR Kindergarten Families,

We so sorry missed you at our Kindergarten Screening on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, and hope everything is well with you and your soon-to-be kindergartner! While we wish we could have met you in person, we still want to ensure you have the important information needed to feel confident and excited about the upcoming school year.

Below is a look at a typical kindergarten day at Hilliard Crossing:

Daily Kindergarten Schedule

🕒 8:50 – 9:15: Morning Routine & Morning Meeting

📚 9:15 – 10:55: Literacy Block (Wit and Wisdom Curriculum & Geodes Reading)

🍽 10:55 – 11:20: Lunch

🏃‍♀️ 11:20 – 11:50: Recess

📖 11:50 – 12:15: Read Aloud & Geodes Practice

➕ 12:15 – 1:50: Math Block (Illustrative Math & Fact Fluency Activities)

🎨 1:50 – 2:30: Specials Rotation (Gym, Art, Music, and Spanish)

💡 2:30 – 3:00: Intervention/Enrichment Block (Tailored support or extended learning)

🌍 3:00 – 3:25: Content Time (Science & Social Studies)

🚌 3:25: Dismissal
