Spring Social:  HMS Luau is this Friday, April 26th.  Tickets will be on sale starting Tuesday @ lunch.  Students will receive a goodie bag upon entrance with tickets for free food drinks and games.  Prizes and competitions during the social as well as KONA ICE !

LACROSSE:  The Heritage Boys Lacrosse team improved to 7-0 with a 12-3 win over Big Walnut.  Ben Trout played really well in Gola while the goal scoring was led by Landen Rogner with 4 goals, Mason Gloeckner with 3, both Rowan Vroom and Roman Frias each added 2 goals and Luca Apicella added 1 goal.  Next game is this Saturday at Bexley at 4PM.

Baseball::  8th grade team: Grady Kosarko (3 hits) and Landon O’Shaughnessy (3 RBIs) had a great day at the plate but Heritage fell short to Jones 11-5. They play at Weaver next on Thursday at 5:00.

The 7th grade team defeated visiting Dublin Davis last night 13-7.  Charlie Wilkins pitched 3 innings for the win while Mack Thomas and Aiden Cornell pitched in relief.  The Panthers are now 4-0-and 1 tie and will host visiting Dublin Grizzell on Thursday.

Tennis:  Congratulations to boys tennis for their win over Grove City last night.  Winners for the Panthers include Sam Hale, Mumdooh Nadeem, Josh Giffen & Mark Anderson.

Girl’s Softball:

8th grade softball team beat Jones 7-5.

Emma Gerkin had 2 home runs and Angelina Inciarte had a clutch hit  in the top of the 7th.   Brooklyn Smith had two amazing catches in the outfield and Marley Grigby pitched a strong game.  Way to go ladies!!

Boy’s Lacrosse:

Heritage took the win 9-2 over Weaver on Friday. Ben Trout was amazing in goal with 18 saves!  Landen Roger had 5 goals, Mason Gloeckner had 2 goals and 4 Assists, Brayden Scott and Roman Frias each added Goals.  Luca was incredible at the faceoff again winning all his draws.

The Heritage MS Boy’s Lacrosse Team improves to 6-0 on the season beating Karrer MS 14-5 at home Monday night.   Landen Rogner and Mason Gloeckner each had 4 goals, Brayden Scott had 3 goals, Brody Stower had 2 and Luca Apicella had one goal.  The next game is this Wednesday at Home Vs Big Walnut at 5:30PM.

The Girl’s Lacrosse Team defeated Weaver this weekend with a score of 13-4. Goals were scored by Dizzy Reichman, Leah Limbird, Alexa Duncan, and Meredith Eusebio-James. Way to go! The panthers start their 4-game week at UA Jones on Monday night. Good luck!

Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Track teams on their performances Saturday at Joe Lenge Invitational at Dublin Coffman. The Girls team finished 5th out 16 teams and the boys team finished 3rd.

The following athletes finished TOP 3 in their events:

Sofia Sunseri- 100m – 1st , 100m Hurdles – 1st

Romel Turner – 100m – 1st , 200m – 1st

*ROMEL SET A NEW MEET RECORD in both the 100m & 200m!

Gabriella Harnish – Shot Put – 3rd

Softball:  Congratulations to the eighth-grade girls softball team on their comeback victory against Hastings. The ladies won 1412 leading the way was Emma Gerkin on the mound and at the plate and Raleigh Houston. The girls are in action Saturday for a doubleheader against Pickerington, at the Darby High School softball complex

Baseball:   8th grade baseball tied Kilbourne with a score of 6-6. Landon O’Shaughnessy had 5 strikeouts and 0 earned runs in 3 innings pitched and Grady Kosarko, Carson Pulsfort, and Ian Cassidy all had an RBI.

Tennis:   Boys’ tennis had a great day on the courts yesterday with Gahanna. Everyone played well and improved.  Congrats to Josh Giffen and Mark Anderson for their double team win!

Heritage Boys Lax won a close game 8-6 vs Memorial last night.  Luca Apicella was 15-17 at the faceoff X, Ben Trout had 15 saves, while Mason Gloeckner had 5 goals (including the game winner), Landen Rogner had 2 and Roman Frias added one goal to help the team.  Next game is a big one vs Weaver.  Tonight, Friday 4/19 at 6PM in the Heritage stadium.

Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award Applications are due today, Friday April 19th .
